About Us

Kerry Denture Clinic is owned and operated by Dan Mulcare, a qualified Denturist with over 18 years of experience in the design, fabrication, and fitting of high-quality denture prostheses.

Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Technology from Trinity College Dublin and spent many years working at the Dublin Dental University Hospital, where he developed a special interest in complex denture cases, particularly for patients recovering from oral cancer. This passion led him to complete a Master of Science in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at King’s College London, with a focus on cancer rehabilitation.

Dan further expanded his clinical expertise by earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology, allowing him to provide denture treatments directly to the public.

From 2012 to 2021, Dan served as Head of the Dental Laboratories Department at the Dublin Dental University Hospital. He has lectured in removable prosthodontics across both Dental Science and Dental Technology degree programs at Trinity College Dublin and has published original research in several international dental journals.

Dan moved back to County Kerry in 2021 to open Kerry Denture Clinic, where he now proudly provides high-quality denture care to patients in his home community.
